Jessie Markowski, MSW, LCSW (She/Her)
Clinical Therapist
If you are feeling stuck and wondering if exploring therapy is the right next step for you, I encourage you to take the leap. Fostering hope in my clients is my passion, and over the past several years I have been amazed by the resilience and growth of so many individuals and families I have been able to work with.
I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from Saint Louis University and have been able to work in a variety of settings including inpatient behavioral health, multiple schools, and in special education, providing therapy for individuals from diverse backgrounds with various mental health conditions. Though I have experience working with young children through adults, I am particularly passionate about working with adolescents and college-aged students to equip them to make positive change in their lives as they grow as individuals.
My approach to therapy is one of forming a genuine relationship with clients as the foundation of our time together. You are the expert in your experience, and together we can work to reach your goals to foster personal wellbeing as you define it. It is a privilege to be invited into someone’s life during particularly vulnerable times, and I will strive to bring to it all the passion, care, and dignity that each person deserves. Let’s get started!
