LCSW Licensure Supervision

Therapists, Laura Fonseca and Kayla Hambleton, were all dressed up for work at Cornerstone Therapy on Halloween 2022.

Experience and Postgraduate Education

Laura Fonseca, MSW, LCSW has over ten years of experience working as a therapist in clinical settings. She has experience conducting assessments at local emergency departments, providing individual and group therapy at nearby grade schools, and facilitating individual, group, and family therapy at the inpatient and outpatient levels of care with clients struggling with eating disorders.

Additionally, upon completion of her masters degree, she felt there was still a lot to learn in order to provide quality therapy and went on to complete a two year post graduate psychodynamic psychotherapy program at St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute.

Supervision Philosophy

Inspired by those who helped provide her the insight, feedback, and tools that shaped her therapeutic work, Laura became certified as a LCSW licensure clinical supervisor in 2021. To foster an environment of growth and development, she creates a comfortable space for the supervisee to process experiences associated with working in the social work field and provides guidance and education to assist the supervisee’s professional growth.
