Leah Erickson, MSW, LMSW (She/Her)
Clinical Therapist
I believe that the hardest step to take is the first one, and if you’re looking into therapy, I am happy to say that you already have taken that difficult first step. I’m so glad you’re on this journey towards healing, in whatever way that may be for you.
I graduated with my Masters in Social Work from the Brown School at Washington University of St. Louis in 2022, and have spent my first couple years as a therapist working with children in the school setting. I have provided individual and group counseling services in that time, and have thoroughly enjoyed helping children get comfortable with counseling and working with teachers, families, and the kiddos to best meet their needs.
My goal as a therapist is to put the therapeutic relationship first. When we are vulnerable and comfortable with each other, healing can follow. To ensure this, I put an emphasis on rapport-building, playing games, catering to client interests, and making sure that my clients feel safe, heard, and supported.
“You’re imperfect, and you’re wired for struggle, but you are worthy of love and belonging.” - Brené Brown
